Terms of Service

By accessing or using Strider’s Fan Game Domain (SFGD), you agree to these Terms of Service (TOS). If you disagree with any part, do not use SFGD. Users must be 13+ or have parental consent.

Provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it secure. You are responsible for all account activity.

Engage respectfully in all interactions. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or abusive behavior is prohibited.

SFGD supports sharing fan games, ROM hacks, indie titles, and tools. Respect intellectual property rights. Shared assets or code must credit original creators. Using or distributing another’s work without permission or credit is prohibited. To report infringements, email strider@fg-domain.com. We may remove content per DMCA requests.

• Illegal Software: Sharing or distributing illegal software (e.g., copyrighted ROMs) is prohibited. Linking to illegal ROMs may lead to content removal; users indemnify SFGD for IP disputes. Discussing or linking to legally permissible off-site content is allowed.
• Commercial Use: SFGD projects must not be commercialized unless they are original indie creations. Fan games and ROM hacks must remain non-commercial.
• NSFW Content: Not Safe for Work (NSFW) content, including adult material, is strictly prohibited unless under specific circumstances to protect those under the age of 18 from accessing said content.

Collaborate to foster a supportive, creative environment. Work together on fan projects and share resources responsibly.

Provide clear, detailed descriptions for discussions or content. Use tags correctly to ensure content is easily found and categorized.

• Spamming: Repetitive, irrelevant, or unwanted content is prohibited.
• Targeted Behavior: Harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks are prohibited.

Administrators and moderators may monitor, edit, or remove content violating these terms. Repeat violations may lead to account suspension or termination, with or without notice. Appeal bans via strider@fg-domain.com.

SFGD is not liable for direct or indirect damages from site use, including data loss, IP disputes, or user misconduct.

These terms are governed by Missouri law. Disputes will be resolved via mediation before litigation. Contact strider@fg-domain.com for resolution requests.

SFGD may update these terms. Significant changes will be notified via site notice or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
