Synopsis

(Chinese: 神鬼帝國之惡魔城; lit. "Demon Castle of the Empire of Gods and Ghosts") is a 2003 unlicensed Game Boy Color action-adventure game developed and published by Taiwanese company Sintax. Modeled after Konami's Castlevania series, it is a Metroidvania-style title with RPG elements where players control a Belmont-esque hero armed with a whip. The protagonist explores a nonlinear, monster-filled castle, defeating enemies for hearts and random power-up drops that enhance stats and unlock new areas via backtracking and ability acquisition. Boss battles punctuate progression, and the soundtrack remixes tracks from Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge. Presented entirely in Chinese, it precedes enhanced versions like Emo Cheng DX
