Synopsis

After Simon Belmont got rid of Dracula in Castlevania, he headed back to his hometown. But he found there his village totally destroyed and his family scared to death. In the middle of the fire, Simon had a vision of an angel, who revealed that Dracula had not been defeated at Castlevania, but just wounded. The angel said that Dracula had regained his power and was the cause of every disaster. Simon Belmont took his whip and rushed back to Dracula's castle, but found dozens of zombies and other cursed creatures on his path...
